In the thirteenth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1415), the young eunuch Zhang Qian sent an envoy to Bo Ni, set sail from the Hujiang River in Quanzhou, and after returning to China, he asked the imperial court to rebuild it vigorously, and changed the "Shunji Temple" to "Tianfei Palace". In the nineteenth year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1680), Shi Lang prepared to conquer Taiwan, and reported that "Shenyong Chaoji Shi" and "Helpful Shungong", and the Qing court enshrined "Protecting the country and protecting the people, Miao Ling Zhaoying Hongren Puji Tianhou", and "Tianfei Palace" was renamed "Tianhou Palace". The Tianhou Temple complex preserves Song Dynasty components and wooden buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The main buildings are distributed on the north-south central axis, including the mountain gate, the stage, the east and west que, the main hall, the east and west corridors, the dormitory, the east and west pavilions, the four pavilions, the two pavilions and the dressing room. As the material carrier of Mazu belief and culture, Quanzhou Tianhou Temple plays an important role in promoting cross-strait cultural exchanges.
