<p>In the sixth year of the Qingyuan reign (1200 AD), the imperial court believed that Lady Mazu protected the country and its people, and her contributions were related to the creation of the universe. People regard their relatives as the origin, and blessings should first be bestowed upon them. Therefore, an imperial edict was issued. Lady Mazu's father was conferred the title of "Zhenqing Marquis", and then the title was changed to "Weiling Marquis". Additionally, because her father's prestigious status was beneficial to the country and the people, he was further conferred the title of "Linggan Jiayou Marquis". Lady Mazu's mother, Wang, was titled "Xianqing Lady". Her elder brother was titled "Lingying Immortal Official", and her elder sister was titled "Cihui Lady" to assist Lady Mazu.</p>
